Lakeside cottage

Rent our homey cottage right next to Lake Hjälmaren. Here the wooden floors are smooth and you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves from outside. In "Linus hus" there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a living room, a bathroom with shower and WC, a loft with two rooms, six berths and with possibilities for two spare beds. A cot and a high chair can be arranged for the small ones.

Note! The cottage is also cozy to stay in wintertime.

There are just a few metres to the lake with your own beach and good fishing possibilities. Boat included and life jackets available to lend.

Public swimming spots with nice sandy beaches and kiosk open during the summer season within five minutes by car.

You have the guesthouse on your own with your own garden including garden furnitures, swings to the children and a barbeque together with a barbeque area by the lake.

Here you can apart from play and fish for example take the boat on beaver safari and there are also good chances to see other wild life in the surroundings.

Other things to note:
The cottage is in the countryside. In the spring and summer there may be wild birds and animals settling down in nature around. For example, it may mean that you can hear noise like birdsong and quitters.
Our garden is next to the guesthouse garden, but with thick hedges between that gives privacy.

At the farm there are also horses, hens, rabbits, cats and a little dog.

5 minutes by car to public swimming spot with nice sandy beach, kiosk and restaurant open during summer season. It’s also a nice trip by bicycle.
20 minutes by car to nice hiking trails.
20 minutes by car to the town Arboga with supermarkets, medical centre and library. Arboga has an old town centre with cobblestone and old preserved buildings. There are also many small shops to visit.
30 minutes to golf course, 18 hole.
30 minutes by car to tour riding on Icelandic horses.
