Charming summer house in the old village of Byholma. The house is located on an islet and the sheltering garden gives the house plenty of privacy. At an easy walking distance (10 min) you find the village of Grisslehamn, which has a supermarket, two fish shops, a bakery, a fruit & vegetable stand, a kiosk, restaurants, pubs, mini golf and the well-visited Albert Engström Museum. The sea is always present with delightful swimming spots, beautiful walking trails and child-friendly beaches. For those who want to take a day trip, the Eckerö ferry depart three times a day to the Åland Island.
The house consists of three bedrooms, were one is furnished as a TV room. Downstairs there is a dining area, kitchen, lounge with fireplace and toilet (separett). The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove and a wood stove (if desired), refrigerators, freezers and hot and cold running water.
The garden has a big terrace and is equipped with a summer kitchen (with a stove, fridge, freezer and running water) and an outside shower.
Byholma can be reached by car or bus (the bus stop is 400 m. from the house).
Electricity not included in the rent. Rental requires that tenants have their own insurance.
Directions:
From Stockholm take the road E18 to Norrtälje, follow road 76 until you reach road 283. Follow the road sign "Grisslehamn". Once you arrive in the village of Grisslehamn, pass the supermarket "ICA" and turn right towards Singö (ca. 50 m.). Then drive for 300 m and turn right on the road Byholmavägen. You will see the house after ca. 400 on your right side. Welcome!
