Vråen

Welcome to Vråen at Bolmsö! Bring the large family, the extended family, friends or your colleagues to Vråen and experience peace and quiet, nature, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, boat trips, canoe paddle, excursions etc. Bolmsö is situated about 25km from Ljungby in Småland. Bolmsö is the largest island in Lake Bolmen which is the 10th largest lake in Sweden and known for its good fishing. There are good chances to catch pike, perch or zander when fishing here. The rare two ways to get to the island, either via the bridge from Tannåker or by a free cable car from Sunnaryd. The trip on the ferry takes 10 minutes. In Tannåker, circa 2km from Vråen there is a petrol station available.

Vråen consists of two houses. The smaller is a typical Småland cottage from the 19th century. There is a kitchen, dining room, a veranda and one bedroom. Two toilets with showers. At the loft there are 6 berths. In the large house you will find shower rooms, toilets, 5 bedrooms with two bunk beds, four berths in each room together with one bedroom with one bunk bed. There is also an all-purpose room with a suite, table and an open fireplace. Outside there is a barbeque area, a landscaped outdoor area for ball games such as football and volleyball, table tennis table and a wonderful natural garden with grass areas and trees. The surroundings consist of mixed forest which provides a pleasant outdoor environment with a rich bird life.

Road description:
Drive road E4 and exit 81 towards Bolmsö. Turn towards Bolmsö and drive straight ahead towards Bolmsö 25. You come to a four-way intersection, drive straight ahead towards Bolmsö 19. At the next intersection turn right towards Bolmsö 13. You reach Tannåker and turn left towards Bolmsö 10.
Drive 2,200 mts and turn in towards Vråen at the bus stop Bolmsö skola. Drive 100 mts and you will arrive at the houses. Park in the yard. (Buses may park opposite the entrance). Questions, please contact Magnus +46 70-270 45 71
