Limestone house at eastern Gotland, Ardre Ljugarn

The charming house with a large barn was built in about 1860. The house is a 1½ story house limestone house located in a vivid farm environment in Ardre socken, 5km from the classic bathing town Ljugarn. Ardre is located about 40Km south east of Visby.

Number of berths: Eight (four double beds)

Open and nice location, private and close to nature. Modern standard, everything in tip top shape.

On the ground floor there is the newly renovated kitchen with a dining area, a spacious hall way, living room and a large bedroom. Shower, WC, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Two entrances from the ground floor, which of one out to a small and cosy conservatory. First floor with two bedrooms, an all-purpose room with one berth, a hall way and a WC.

All beds are made op with sheets upon arrival. Towels in the bathrooms and WC. Extra sheets and towels available.

Cleaning before departure is included in the price.

Large flat, fenced ground plot suitable for children and dogs. Fruit trees and roses in the garden. A large and tall lilac hedge is surrounding the plot and on the other sides there is a limestone wall. In the garden there is garden furniture and a barbeque. A few older bicycles are available.

Swimming spots/sandy beaches by for example Lake Ljugarn (5km), at Lake Sjauster (circa 8km) and in Sandviken (about 10km).
Nearby a nine hole golf course.
In Ljugarn (5km) there are shops, restaurants, petrol station and a bakery available.
At Hemse (25km) a medical care centre, a pharmacy, an off license shop, bakery and some shops are available.

Directions:
From Visby road 143 towards Ljugarn. After circa 40km take left by the sign towards Ardre. After about 5km take left, first house on your left hand side (red barn and a white house with a tall hedge).
