Old house on a small farm nearby the lake Åsnen

Kobacken is a small, not active, old farm situated nearby the lake Åsnen. Here you find 2 timbered appr 150 year old houses and one of them is for rent. The house has the charm from old times but with modern qualities as a well equipped modern kitchen with washing machine, refrigerator and a freezer, a modern electrical stove with a big owen and there is a bathroom with shower and a toilett, washing machine and a dryer.

The building is situated some hundred meters from the shore of the lake Åsnen, to which you have axes to a private bathing place and a small boat "harbour". The surrounding woods with mostly beech trees belongs to the farm and they are very convenient to stroll in. On the land you find apps. 50 sheep ( they will not disturb you) and in the lake you find different kind of fishes and you can buy a "fishing card" and rent a small boat or canoes for fishing or just for getting out in the lake.

The house has 5 bedroom with altogether 8 beds with comfortable beds with new and fresh beddings + 2 extra beds
The living room has sofas and one of them can be converted into a big bed, several nice easy chairs and a sofa table. Not a TV , but a screen for watching TV or films from internet. There is a dinner table with chairs for many people.The house has Wi Fi. Bicycles are for rent and you find a food store in the village center 7 km north of Kobacken

Directions:
If you come from south, Malmö, drive road 23 appr 200 km until you reach HUSEBY BRUK. After some hundred meters you turn right to KALVSVIK. Drive further 10 km until you see a sign SIRKÖN, URSHULT. Turn right and drive 6,5 km and you find a sign KOBACKEN on our right side. Turn right and you will se the farm.

You can come by train to ALVESTA and we can pick you upp there.
