Welcome to the quiet and idyllic Sörgården in Börsebo farm village. The house was built in the middle of the 18th century and has been carefully restored. In the surroundings there are miles of woodland and walking fields and several lakes. Excellent hiking and biking trails are available from the inexperienced to the more experienced. The farm is located in a nature 2000 area with meadows and cultural environment. The nearest community, Hjältevad, is 1.5 km away and there is a grocery store with everything you need. Eksjö is 25 km away with all services. Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby is 35 km away.
On the lower level there is a living room with a large brick fireplace with iron hob from the 17th century and a floor with wide tiles. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and convection oven, combined fridge and freezer, microwave and cast iron wood stove with built-in oven. Dining room with space for the large party and a bedroom with working tiled stoves. The bedroom has 2 beds.
On the upper level there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed, two single beds, a cot and a travel cot. There is also a fireplace here. Wet areas with two toilets, shower and washing machine. There is also a large uninsulated attic perfect for children to play or use as a training / yoga room.
Directions:
Take the highway 40 between Eksjö and Vimmerby by Hjältevad and drive south through the community. After about 1.5 km you pass three sandboxes and at the third sandbox, where the uphill slope ends, turn right at the wooden sign Börsebo. The farm is the first on the left. Parking space is available before the house on the left side with space for 2 cars.
