Fågelsången (The Birdsong)

Hemsida: alve-roos.se Outside the small village Hycklinge, about 44km from Vimmerby, is this house with lovely forest and farmland located. Here you can enjoy the lovely patio with your morning coffee and listen to the birdsong. The house has an open planning with a kitchen area and living room with a wood burner (fire wood included) together with a sofa and windows towards nature. Two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed. Next to the bedrooms there is a bathroom with shower, wash basin and a WC. From the ground floor there is a staircase up to a sleeping loft with two spare beds. The house is situated on an adult garden but also have lawn area for games together with a play house for the children. If you wish to go on the water, Lake Åsunden is just about 300 metres from the house with a boat rental usually available weekly. Fishing permit to the lake is available online. To reach the boat by the lake you have to pass a meadow with grazing cows. If you go out on the lake by boat, there is an island with a lovely sandy beach and barbeque area and in Hycklinge a swimming spot with a diving tower. Behind the dwelling house, about 100 metres there is a house with a wooden heated sauna in one part and in the other part there is a room with a washing machine. This house is shared with another cottage located about 200 metres from your house. The house is located with the forest and lovely landscape with beautiful nature with several lakes near by. If you wish to see the sea, Gamleby is the closest, circa 40km. It is 35km to Kisa with cosy cafés, restaurants and shops. In Vimmerby you can visit Astrid Lindgren’s World together with Leo’s lekland (play land). Virum’s moose park, where you can feed the moose’s, located just 20km southeast of Vimmerby. If you want to visit a larger city, Linköping is about an hour away, the coastal city Västervik circa 45 minutes. The house is rented by the week.
