Our dream of a lake house...

Who is not dreaming about it.... a beautiful typical Swedish house situated on the lake, surrounded by the wonderful forests of Småland and still not far from the nearest town, where you can find every infrastructure needed for living....

For your well deserved vacation, this is exactly what you will find here!

The property and 4 other houses are located at the end of a 2km long private forest road on which sometimes - with a little luck - you can meet moose, rabbit and co..

In 2018 the one floor wooden house was built as bungalow style. Two bedrooms are equipped with 1.80m x 2.00m double beds. The children's room has four beds divided into two bunk beds. A baby travel bed is available for a small guest. Due to the different degrees of hardness of the mattresses in the rooms, every guest finds his right place for a good rest.

Living in the house takes place in the spacious living / dining area with open kitchen. During the winter the highlight is certainly the oven visible from all sides and in the summer the view over the lake from terrace deck. Here you can decide depending on the weather, if you want to enjoy the sunrise over the lake in the morning, soak up the afternoon sun, or in bad weather sit dry on the bench under the covered outside area breathing the fresh Swedish air.

The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a shower, a sink and a toilet. The utility room holds a washer-dryer combination, an iron and a clothesline.The kitchen is equipped with everything a cook / baker / housewife desires, the most important of course is a dishwasher, a convection oven, a microwave and a fridge / freezer combo. Of course, a mixer, toaster, coffee maker, barbecue and much more is available.

On the colder days, the heated floor ensures comfortable warm feet throughout the house. If the weather does not cooperate outside, there is a TV with satellite system and DVD player, as well as some games and toys for children.

The house is designed for 8 people. For smaller guests also a highchair (6+ months) and appropriate dishes are available. Even four-legged friends are welcome by prior arrangement. If desired, towel sets, bed linen or even sauna / bath towels can be rented for a surcharge.

One third of the property is left untouched, so you can start collecting mushrooms and blueberries on your doorstep. A cozy outside fireplace with integrated sandpit completes the offer for young and old.

For the water and fishing enthusiasts, a rowing boat is available with which you can explore the 35 square kilometer lake Flåren and explore its almost 100km of coastline. An outboard engine for the rowing boat can be rented separate.

The house is located ashore of the 35sqkm size lake Flåren, which is part of the Lagan water system. The lake offers great fishing of perch, roach, bream, pike and eel. There are 3 public boat ramps. With the house also comes a canoe for 4 people.

Enjoy the new wood fired sauna (additional charge) with lake view. In the attached anteroom you can relax between the sauna sessions with candlelight in a cozy sitting area.

For swimming and fishing you will find a floating jetty that reaches far out into the lake (May until September).
