Cottage next to lovely lake

Welcome to this lovely cottage next to the lake Västlandasjön!

In this calm environment you can rent a cottage that has all the comforts you need in a holiday home. Here the children can run freely, and there is plenty of social space for socializing with family or friends. A short walk from the accommodation you reach the lake, Västlandasjön, and here you can swim from both jetties and a small beach.

The accommodation:
The cottage is simple in its style, but has, as stated above, all you need in a holiday home. The area and garden are large, and there is a trampoline for the smaller ones. There is also a spacious terrace of 80 sqm which works well as a social space even when you are many. In the garden there is a fire pit and an open fireplace where you can barbeque with either charcoal (bring yourself) or wood (available in the cottage). In the main part of the accomodation, there is a well-equipped kitchen, here you can cook proper food (dishwasher is not available). In addition there is a bathroom with shower (and a washing machine). There is also a family room with sofa and TV (with several channels).

The sleeping places are divided into:
- The main house: A double bed (160cm) with a wood burning stove next to it, and a bunk bed (80cm) with wider lower part (140cm). Separate rooms.
- Guest room: Double bed (two 80cm beds put together), and a bunk bed (80cm), there is a TV.
- Guest house: Two single beds (120cm and 90cm).

The area:
The lake Västlandasjön is 500m from the cottage, ie a few minutes walking distance. Here there are bathing jetties and a beach (if you have a dog there is also a separate beach for dogs where they can swim and play). The rental also includes a canoe, you can take it down to the lake on the carriage and then paddle around and discover the area (own responsibility: remember to use the life jackets that are in the cottage, and bring water to drink!). If you bring fishing equipment you can also fish in the lake - perch and pike are abundant. Down at the lake there is also a country shop with various items, including ice cream of course! There is also mini golf, as well as an club house that organizes pubs and barbecue evenings, discos, live bands, and more, during the summer. There is also a small football field.

Köping has the closest grocery store (15min drive, Big Inn). 40 minute drive away is Gustavsviksbadet, an adventure area for families, with, among other things, a swimming adventure part called Lost City. 30 minutes away is Västerås water park Kokpunkten. At 1h distance is the Park Zoo in Eskilstuna.

In total, the cottage and the area are really well suited for relaxation, as well as for fun and discovery!

Getting here:
You get here by your own car. Parking is available on the site.

All communication with guests will take place from a distance.

Final cleaning is done by the guests. Bed linen, towels and other consumables are not included in the rent (bring your own bathroom supplies).

Downpayment is used.
20% of the rent is due at time of booking. Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

A security deposit of SEK 2500 is transferred along with the final payment, and will be refunded shortly after check-out, provided that cleaning and other things are done as expected.

Change of guests is done on Sundays.
Check-out is before 11:00, and check-in at 15:00, unless otherwise agreed.

The cottage is only rented to proper guests (references may be requested).
