Lakeside Summer Cabin with Private Dock and Boat

Welcome to our cute and cozy summer cabin in beautiful Väne Ryr (Vänersborg), Sweden!

With its amazing lakeside location and PRIVATE floating dock, you're only a few steps away from a refreshing morning swim every day. The main cabin and porch-connected guesthouse fits two families or six adults.

You have full access to a rowing boat, equipped kitchen, bbq grill, bathroom with incinerating toilet, and a lovely outdoor shower. Take fun walks/runs around the lake and enjoy sunsets on the porch

The space
The main cabin has a small bedroom with a double bed (120cm). The living room has a sofa bed that folds out into a 140 cm bed. The kitchen in the main cabin is equipped enough to prepare and serve dinner to 6-8 adults, with a portable oven/stove and outdoor grill on the porch.

The guest house has a bunk bed with room for two adult on the bottom and one adult on the top. It also has a smaller couch (80cm) that can be used as an additional bed.

The two houses are connected by a beautiful porch with a lake view, perfect for late night dinners and sunny breakfasts.

The cabin is located only meters away from the lake, with a private dock for wonderful swims and tanning. There are neighbors around the lake but the cabin is very private since it's covered by the forrest on both sides.

There is a small beach located across the lake which is great for children to go swimming. You can easily reach this place in 10 min with our rowing boat or with a 15 min walk. Väne Ryr is perfekt for long hikes in the woods, runs around the lake. Watch horses and cows around the area.

You will need a car for your stay since the closest grocery store is about 15 minutes away by car. (Överby Köpcentrum). Here you can find anything from restaurants to shopping malls. We suggest to load up on groceries and necessities before you arrive so you don't have to make too many trips to the store.

Getting around

There is a bus stop about 10 min away from the cabin that will take you to nearby cities within 20 min. (Vänersborg, Trollhättan & Uddevalla). Download the Västtrafik ToGo App to find routes, times and buy tickets.
