Lakeside cottage in Småland for relaxation

It doesn´t get more jovial and picturesque than this. How about a cottage in the middle of Småland´s nature, no neighbours or passing traffic and with your private swimming and fishing lake.

Right outside of the summer town Västervik, with comfortable car distance to Astrid Lindgren´s World, this gem is located next to a lake. Road all the way to the cottage together with lots of parking space.

In the lake you can fish for northern pike and perch with a fishing rod or a casting rod, from the bank of the lake, jetty or rowing boat. From the cottage you have a few metres to swimming spot, from the beach or a bathing jetty. Within walking distance, you have cliffs to go swimming from. By the lake is also a wooden heated sauna available.


In the nearby area there are several lakes, plenty of walking paths, blueberry, cowberry and mushroom forest together with the lovely hiking trail Tjustleden which reach all the way in to Västervik and out in Tjustbygden´s beautiful nature. Along the coast outside Västervik, you will find Sweden's most beautiful archipelago with one of the country's best sport fishing.

The cottage consists of two bedrooms and a lounge with a fireplace, suite, dining area for ten persons and a kitchen area with sink, fridge, cooker etc.

On the ground plot there is a lawn, a bowling green, a garden shed, storehouse building with toys for outside games, two patios with space for about ten persons, sunbeds and a generous barbeque.

In this cottage the family will be guaranteed a relaxing holiday. Not just because of the private location and the immediate vicinity to the beautiful and calming nature. But also, because there is no electricity or running water, which give a stress-free recreation for spending time together instead of screen time. (If you wish to use your screens there are solar cells available to charge mobile phones and tablets. Good reception by the cottage, a wireless network available.)

Fridge and cooker run on gas oil. In the storehouse building there is a dry toilet available.
Fresh water in the lake, clear to drink and is tested each year.

Sleeping accommodations 12+4
Bedroom 1: A bunk bed with upper bunk (90 cm.) for 1 person together with the bottom bunk (140 cm.) for 1 - 2 persons. A withdrawable bed on the floor (90 cm.) for 1 person.
Bedroom 2: A bunk bed with upper bunk (90 cm.) for 1 person together with the bottom bunk (140 cm.) for 1 - 2 persons. A withdrawable bed on the floor (90 cm.) for 1 person.
Guest house: Two bunk beds for a total of 4 persons.
Two extra beds are available in the guest house.
All of these beds have firm mattresses and are comfortable even for adults.
Four simpler extra beds can be arranged, for example in the cabin's living room and sauna.

SEK 18.000/week. Bed linen and towels are not included.

Rented by the week. Swap day Saturday.
