Own island for rent, in popular swimming and fishing lake. Newly built holiday home on the island of Ramnö in Lake Ås-Tolken, between Borås and Ulricehamn, for rent. Minimum stay 2 nights.

The house is located 10 meters from the water, is newly built, very fresh and is based on simplicity and primitive living. 22 m2 plus sleeping loft. There is a lack of electricity, running water and sewage so you can fully enjoy the beautiful nature, light candles and get genuine relaxation.

The lake is known for its fine fishing, especially for pikeperch. There are plenty of perch and pike, including coarse fish. The island of Ramnö is large, about 10 hectares, and the house is completely alone on the island. At the end of the lake, towards Ulricehamn, is Handlar'n in Tolkabro, a food and service shop that can be reached by boat.

The house contains a living room with sofa, kitchen table and wood stove (Jötul 602) with hob. Furthermore, kitchen with sink and gas kitchen, bedroom with comfortable, site-built bunk bed and a sleeping loft with double bed. Fresh earthen toilet is on the plot, as well as a substantial fireplace where you grill, make coffee and cook. Gas grill, frying pans, Muurikka, pans and everything you need are available. Firewood is included and there is a refrigerator powered by LPG. Water is taken from the lake and drinking water is purified in reliable purification equipment with, among other things, activated carbon.

The property has a lake plot (the house is about 10 meters from the lake), its own jetty and a large swimming raft as well as a fantastic wood-fired bathtub, model Bohemen, by the brand Hikki, check out their website.

Rowing boat with 3.5 hp new engine and 5 liters of petrol is included as well as a tandem type kayak, Point 65 Mercury GTX (room for 2). Small, child-friendly sandy beach is a stone's throw from the house.

Dogs and pets are welcome, but not in beds and sofas.

The property owner / your host transports you / you by boat to and from the island and goes through everything you need to know on site. If you want to be picked up at, for example, a train station in Borås, we try to solve it at extra cost. If you come by car, you can park at the mooring. If you come with your own boat, there are good boat ramps, where the one in Tolkabro has the best parking.

Bed linen and towels can be rented at a cost of SEK 100 per person. Needs to be booked in advance. Cleaning is done by the guest according to the cleaning schedule.
