Holidayhouse at Älgsjön

The holiday home
"Stora älg" with its approx. 120m² of living space offers enough space for up to 8 people. The house is very modern and built and equipped to a very high standard (central ventilation system with filter technology, FB heating, EIB/KNX, etc.).

Allocation/ equipment:
On the upper floor there are four bedrooms (3x double room + 1x single room (+ travel or baby cot)), bathroom and hallway. The modern living/dining area, kitchen (with very high-quality fitted kitchen), hallway, anteroom to the sauna with washing machine and dryer, the exclusive sauna made of aspen wood including a separate shower area, as well as a toilet and technical room are on the ground floor.

Outside:
Outside, the approx. 40m² large terrace with lake view, sun guarantee and lounge furniture invites you to relax. The existing mosquito trap (Mosquito Magnet from Pioneer) traps annoying black flies ("knott") and mosquitoes on the entire property (up to approx. 4000 square meters) for the most part.

Location:
The cottage is only about 20 meters from Lake Älgsjön. A real paradise for anglers, as the lake is very popular for pike and perch. Since the lake usually freezes over completely in winter, ice fishing or ice skating is also possible here. There are also 3 ski areas in the area (only approx. 25-71km away).

The Glaskogen nature reserve is right next door and, with its approx. 350 kilometers of hiking trails, offers a great deal of opportunity to enjoy nature and absolute peace and quiet. Also a real paradise for bike junkees! The town of Arvika (approx. 15 TE inhabitants) is 25km away.

The nearest supermarket and gas station is only 9km away. It is approx. 150km to Oslo Airport (with a rental car approx. 2 hours drive to the house)

Optionally available:
Book our inflatable boat Bombard Commander C4 (15HP) or the aluminum boat Linder Sportsman 445 Basic (9.8HP). We are happy to provide high-quality towels and exclusive bed linen for you optionally at a flat rate per guest.

Optionally, the separate 28sqm sauna building (for up to 14 people), a fishing license (per house) and ice fishing sets (for 2 or 3 people) can also be booked. We would be happy to help you organize guided tours (e.g. moose tour, northern lights, etc.) or sightseeing flights over Arvika.

Included in the price:
Final cleaning is offered. Electricity, water and internet (W-Lan) are included in the rent. Pets are unfortunately not allowed, as the houses are also rented to allergy sufferers.
