Swedish stuga - 'Björn' - beautifully situated

Unwind in this fine stuga in a very relaxing environment, with plenty of privacy. Enjoy our outdoor activities of your choice, both in summer and winter. During your stay in this spacious accommodation you can completely clear your head. Because of the silence, the pure air and pure energy of the river you can completely relax here. Located on our very spacious grounds at our own forest, only 400 m from the Strängsforsen (rapid rapids) on the river Klarälven.
The space
This stuga with lots of privacy has a spacious living room with a wonderfully comfortable double bed in an alcove. A separate, small bedroom with 2 single beds. The beds are made with fine bedding.
A full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Includes towels. The (small) kitchen is fully equipped with a new 2-burner induction hob, microwave, new toaster, refrigerator with freezer, new coffee maker and kettle and a completely new inventory (crockery, pan set, glasses, cutlery, etc.). The stuga was recently equipped with a new heating system by means of an air heating system for even more comfort (both in summer and winter). You have your own spacious balcony, where you can enjoy the summer, both in the sun and in the shade. On the balcony you have your own wood stove.

Baby/cot and high chair are available.

In the vicinity is a so-called Lanthandel (supermarket) and gas station. In the village there is also a restaurant, Finnskoga Wärdshuset, where you can have a nice meal.


The washing machine and dryer can be used on request.

Dogs are allowed, however, the dog(s) cannot run loose on the grounds. It is not allowed to leave dogs on the couch, chairs, beds, etc. It is not desirable to leave the dog(s) alone in the stuga.

The house has its own driveway, so you can park right next to the house. In the village of Höljes there are public transport options, but the bus only runs twice a day, so having your own car is more practical.

The housing costs are all-in, in addition to the energy costs. Consumption costs are regulated on departure based on meter reading and current rates (rates differ per month). The meter reading is noted at start and departure.
