White house at Meeting-place Henneviken

A charming house from the 1880s with its very own history located on a peninsula in the Dalsland Canal. You will have access to your own sauna with bathing jetty. Our guests describe this as paradise on earth. You share the peninsula with our guests in the Red House (ad is available at Stugknuten). The houses are separate from each other, and you have your own bathing jetties, you do not need to have more contact with each other than you choose. Well, you share one thing, we only have one rowboat. We have some older canoes. Boat and canoes is included in the price.

The house was used as guest house from 1932 to 1956, most of it is untouched since then. The charm also includes the fact that it is an out-door toilet. There is no WC inhouse. In the kitchen there is a tap with cold water for dishes and cooking. The sauna is located right by the water and is equipped with showers with hot water.

When it comes to all beds, please note that six of the beds are in three beds that are 140 cm wide. To be able to use all 15 beds, you must be well in tune with who sleeps well together two and two. On the second floor there are two slightly larger bedrooms with four beds each in a double bed and a bunk bed. All beds are on the second floor, there are also two small rooms with 140 cm wide beds, as well as a small room with one bed and space for an extra bed, as well as a cozy crawl-in, with a bed but has only one drapery. So 2 + 3 bedrooms with door + a crawl-in behind a drapery.

We will not open the 2023 season until June 19, all spring we are renovating to make it nice for a wedding. There is also a chapel at Mötesplats Henneviken and it will be fun to get it in order again so that our guests can use it for a studio, yoga room or whatever they have need for.
