Cosy, new lodge near slopes/cross-country tracks

Welcome to this newly built mountain cabin near downhill ski slopes and cross-country trails. It is possible to walk or ski to and from the slope when there is snow in the terrain. It is about 500 meters to the lift and only about 200 meters to go from the hill through the forest back home ("ski-in, walk out").

You will find the Storhogna trail center right nearby. Storhogna is reknown for its cross-country skiing opportunities. Snowmobile trails are also nearby.

Summer, autumn and spring, when the ski slope is closed, there are magnificent nature experiences and lots of activities nearby.

The apartment itself is 87 square meters on two levels and is part of a semi-detached house. It has an open kitchen with a substantial dining area, armchairs by the fireplace and large high windows facing nature. (Firewood available in convenience store). The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 6-8 people. Just outside, you can find blueberries growing and sometimes see reindeer roaming around.

There are 3 bedrooms. One on the upper level with a double bed and a view. As well as two on the lower level with bunk beds (2+1 beds, the lower beds are 120 cm).

The upper floor has a living room with a large sofa and TV as well as a workplace. From the living room it is open down to the kitchen. The TV is connected to Apple TV and Google TV. There is wireless internet connection via mobile broadband.

The hall is spacious with plenty of space for clothes and ski boots, as well as a drying cabinet. There are two separate toilets. In the bathroom there is also a washing machine and dryer. There is a sauna with room for 4 people.

Some details that we know many appreciate: Kicksled, Moccamaster, Waffle iron, Blender, Board games, Induction stove, toaster, kettle, electric whisk, iron (no ironing board at the moment but a towel on the table works).

Outside there is a lockable ski storage room. There is also a patio where you can enjoy nice days.

There are two parking spaces belonging to the cottage and an electric car charger. (Eways Halo, 3 phase, type 2 with fixed cord, SEK 3 per kwh added).

It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Storhogna M with restaurant, activity center, bowling, gym, sports shop, ski rental and convenience store. If you walk 15 minutes in the other direction, you will come to Storhogna Högfjällshotell & SPA with two restaurants, SPA treatments, swimming, ski rental, conservatory and various activities.

The slopes in Storhogna offer fine skiing in natural snow both above and below the tree line. You can easily get back and forth to Klövsjö's more challenging slopes with the transport lift. With the "Snöpendeln" bus, it is also easy to go to Vemdalen or Björnrike. The lift card is shared for the slopes in Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet, Klövsjö and Storhogna.

Storhogna offers activities all year round. During the winter season, various activities are arranged such as ski school for both downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, snowmobile tours, dog sledding and ice climbing. Since 2006, Storhogna Högfjällshotell has been an official Vasalopps center and organizes a number of camps and courses in cross-country skiing. During spring, summer and autumn you can e.g. engage in fantastic mountain hiking, golf, mountain biking, kayaking, bird hunting, horse riding, fishing and not least hiking on many wonderful hiking trails. Autumn is a fantastically beautiful season with miles-wide views and lovely colours.

Everyone in the party must be over 25 years old. Of course, this does not apply to children with parents. The cottage has stairs and is open from the upper floor, the apartment is not suitable for small children.

The house is rented weekly or per night, but at least 3 nights. Exchange day by agreement. Access to the cottage is given from 17:00 on the day of arrival and it is left no later than 12:00 on the day of departure. Mandatory departure cleaning is added to the rent.
