Red cottage with sea view

The cottage is idyllically located between the Bohuslän mountains and meadows. It is only a few minutes walk to he sea shore at Lyrösund and the ferry to the beautiful island of Lyr. On Lyr you will among other find the excellent fish restaurant Bryggvingen and their fish shop which is filled with the delicacies of the sea.

With its open floor plan the cottage feels spacious. In the living room the original rooftrees from the 18th century still remains and the view through the window is like a painting that is in constant change. On the sofa you can gather and relax after a nice day. It can also be converted into a nice bed. There is also a TV-set with an Apple TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge, a stove with hot air and other convenient equipment. There is also a firebox in which you can light a fire and hear the fire crackle on a day when the weather maybe gets a bit rough.

Behind the kitchen there is a newly renovated bedroom with two single beds and a sliding door wardrobe. Next to it is the bathroom and the laundry room. Upstairs you will find a hall which has a good workplace and the spacious main bedroom. It has a comfortable double be d and an extra bed which e.g. can be used for a child. The window view towards Lyresund ver the meadow is beautiful all around the clock.

When the sun rises over the treetops bring your cup of coffee out into the garden and enjoy the view and the singing of the birds. Maybe the blackbird will come and sing his song for you. On the western side of the cottage there is a patio with a sun sail and a gas grill thatb is ready for use.
Up on the mountain behind the the cottage there is also a patio with a beautiful view over Stigfjorden towards Tjörn which we call “the place of pleasure". This is where the evening sun lingers.

If you get tired of the sea and the salt water, take your hiking boots on for a walk into the mountains behind the cottage, maybe on the pilgrim trail or the path to Nösund.
