Andåsen - breath of nature(sauna, fireplace, lake)

We are renting out our wonderful holiday home from summer of 2023 (practically 4 cottages) in Jämtland/Härjedalen, in the middle of the forest, between two lakes with a yard of approx. 4000 m2, with no direct neighbors.

No matter what outdoor activities, summer or winter, our natural oasis offers something special for everyone in every season. Perfect for true nature lovers. Experience the untouched beauty of the Swedish wilderness and immerse yourself in the realm of endless forests, lakes and mountains.

A total of 4 cottages, a main house with a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a double bed, a guest house with 3 beds plus a couch, a large sauna house with a shower and common room with large table and a couch and a playhouse.

Instead of tap water, you have your own well with crystal clear drinking water and for the power supply PV with storage for 12V ( for light, TV, mobile phone, radio). Hot water for the shower, gas stove and fridge and a Cinderella incinerator toilet complete the simple but smart comfort.

Living area: The main cottage around 50 m2, 2nd biggest cottage with sauna around 40 m2, guest cottage around 10 m2, and the playhouse about 6-8 m2, so in total around 110 m2

Härjedalen is a high area province in Sweden, with the smallest population (less than 1 / km2), the statistics show significantly more wild animals than people.

The main town of Sveg (with EVG airport, 20 minutes from the house) has almost 2600 inhabitants. An untouched paradise for hikers, cyclists, anglers and winter sports enthusiasts.

Among other things, musk ox, reindeer, moose, bear, lynx, wolf, wood grouse and black grouse and arctic foxes lives in Härjedalen.

Countless hiking trails, ski areas and cross-country ski runs invite you to voyages of discovery in the untouched wilderness. The fish-rich waters are suitable for endless fishing trips.

The fisherman can fish for char, trout, perch, pike, whitefish and grayling, among others. Our quiet, hilly location, in the middle of the forest, with a yard of approx. 4000 m2 between two lakes, invites you to outdoor activities right outside the front door.

The sandy beach at the larger lake (Andåssjön) can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes through the beautiful forest. The smaller lake is even closer, 200 m from the property.

So in the immediate area there are fantastic opportunities for fishing, snowmobiling, wildlife viewing or even berry picking. We have a separate playhouse for children and we offer a nice run for your dogs.
