Nice newly renovated house on island in Roslagen

Welcome to the quiet life in our nice and well-equipped house (4 + 2 beds) on a natural plot among pine trees and cliffs with a large terrace in all directions where you get a glimpse of the Baltic Sea. The house has a secluded location at the top of a car-free island with walking distance to swimming at the jetty (about 400 m / 5 min) or beach for the little ones (about 800 m). You can get to the island in two hours by Waxholm boat from Strömkajen in Stockholm city, or by car and taxi boat in about 1.5 hours.

The house - Has four beds and two bunk beds in small nice guest house five meters away, for the older children or guests. The cottage of about 40 effective square meters has an open floor plan and a new fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, all from 2022 and dining table for six people. It has a separate bedroom, kitchen and living room in open plan with wood stove and outdoor shower with hot water. Much takes place on the spacious terrace from breakfast to sunset. The terrace has dining areas for at least 10 people, sun loungers, parasols and a large charcoal barbecue.

Vättersö - A cozy island with a lot of common space, activities and life - everything from midsummer celebrations to sailing and football camps, or Friskis and Svettis training on the big meadow. An excursion to the sheep that go on summer grazing in the middle of the island is not to be missed. You can get to this nice island in Roslagen in two hours by Waxholm boat from Strömkajen in Stockholm city, alternatively about 1 hour by car to Vettershaga jetty from central Stockholm and then a few minutes by water taxi/own boat to the jetty below the house (about 400 m).

Life on the island - Here you can have the house as a base with sun all day from breakfast to sunset and take the day as it comes with beach and activities. For those who want to move, there are small paths for quiet walks among blueberry and raspberry bushes, or a run. If you want to make excursions, Vaxholm is an hour away by Waxholm boat. Food can be bought in Vaxholm or ordered with easy delivery to the jetty below the house. Boat berth at a new jetty on the island can be borrowed (for motorboat).

You dispose of the house yourself (the host does not live on the plot during rental weeks).

Distances from the jetty of the Waxholmsbåt to the house about 1200 m. A trolley for the luggage is available at the jetty, and a rental transport by quad bike can possibly be solved.
