The old teachers´ residence from 1934

Welcome to beautiful Hälsingland and Älgereds old teachers residence that was built in 1934. It is a unique house with all the wooden floors intact, a working wood stove and slatted windows even in the basement. Despite the old style, the house is fully equipped and fiber is insatalled so a good Internet is included. The house has two bathrooms and four individual bedrooms. Although the house is large, it is suitable for both the individual couple and larger families. The large garden with apples, plums, currants and raspberries invites you to play croquet, for example.

Outside, the field is open to the enchanting mountains and down in the valley flows the Älgeredsån. Älgered is a village with a nice swimming area, soccer field and a freesbee golf course. Here you are close to fishing, berries and mushrooms. In winter, a 1.4 km long cross-country ski track is prepared in the village and Hasselas ski resort, with the highest drop in southern Norrland, is only a few miles away. Otherwise, the house is perfectly located for making trips to Dellenbygden (30 min) and the coast with e.g. Sörfjärdens long sandy beach. The nearest town is charming Hudiksvall approx. 35 minutes away.

In Bergsjö, everything necessary is available with a well-stocked grocery store and system company.

Cleaning is done by the guest.
