The lakeside cottage

The cabin is located in a secluded area with a stunning view of the lake and forest. Here you can enjoy a wonderful vacation with long forest walks, peaceful moments on the terrace, and swimming either from your private jetty or at the small sandy beach, just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for children. The cabin has two terraces on either side of the house, providing sunshine both in the morning and evening. You can enjoy delightful breakfasts and cozy barbecue evenings here.

From the hallway, you enter directly into the dining area with seating for six. Next to it is a well-equipped small kitchen with a breakfast table for two. A door from the kitchen leads directly to the terrace with morning sun.

The living room offers panoramic views of the lake. It features a comfortable corner sofa, a reading chair, and a fireplace. Through the patio door, you access the southern terrace, which has a seating area and a grill.

The cabin accommodates five people in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed, while the other has two single beds (90x200) that can be combined into a double bed (180x200). The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and a washing machine.

The proximity to forests, lakes, and the sea provides many opportunities for various activities. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation or something more active, there is something for everyone. The area features beautiful nature trails for long walks and several lakes with clear, warm water for swimming. Not far away, you’ll also find the sea, where you can take refreshing dips from the cliffs. For children, there’s a lovely beach by the lake. Nearby, there’s a small equestrian center offering pony rides and summer camps.

If you’d like to enjoy a delicious meal at one of the archipelago's fine restaurants, idyllic Bistro Malma at Malma Kvarn is just a 10-minute walk from the cabin. From there, buses to Stockholm (about 50 minutes) are also available for sightseeing.

At Strömma Canal, about 15 minutes by car, you’ll find Strömma Canal Bar and Bistro Lillströmma. The area also offers Fågelbro Golf & Country Club’s excellent restaurant, along with activities like golf, tennis, and padel.

In Stavsnäs village, you’ll see beautiful turn-of-the-century houses. You’ll also find the Archipelago Museum and Stavsnäs Bakery, which hosts live music in the evenings. From Stavsnäs Winter Harbor, you can take day trips by boat to Sandhamn and other islands in Stockholm’s archipelago.

Seasons and Prices
High season: SEK 12,000/week, including service fees.
Low season: SEK 10,000/week, including service fees.
Mandatory cleaning fee: SEK 1,200.
Towels and bed linen: SEK 175/person.
