The cabin is located in the middle of the blueberry forest just north of Borlänge.

Here you live perfectly if you want to quickly and easily get to several of Dalarna's major excursion destinations. Due to the proximity to the road, there is some road noise.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk to one of Borlänge's finest bathing spots, Masenbadet. In the near distance there is also the Båtstabadet, which you can cycle to or take the car to.

There are nice walking and cycling paths just around the corner.

You can easily cycle into Borlänge as there is a cycle path all the way. For those who want, it is also possible to cycle to Falun. At close range there are fine exercise tracks and electric light tracks.

It is also possible to walk from the cottage to the Dalälven, several small lakes and ponds to enjoy the breakfast basket or take an evening bath. There is also the possibility of fishing with a fishing license.

The nearest grocery store is Ica Kvarnen, which is 5 km away. They are open 7am-10pm every day.

Within a radius of about 25 km you will find Sundborn with Carl Larssongården, Falun with Gruvan and Lugnet, Torsång, Säter. If you want to go a few more km, you will come to lake Siljan with Leksand, Siljansnäs, Rättvik and Mora with Zorngården and Zornmuseét.

In winter, you will find the ski slopes Romme Alpin, Nybrobacken, Källviksbacken, Bjursås ski center and Granberget in Leksand within a radius of 40 km. The closest you have to Romme Alpin and Nybroberget, which is about 20 minutes by car.

The cabin is newly renovated and is perfect for those who are allergic or just want to live in a really fresh cabin. As I myself am allergic, there have never been pets here. It is ideal for couples or the small family. It is possible to live 4 adults, but then it might be perceived as a bit crowded.
