Archipelago house with a view of Väddö Bay, 3 bdrm

Modern country house in Stockholm's northern archipelago, near Grisslehamn and Väddö.

The house is brand new, completed in the spring of 2024. It will primarily be our private country house, but be rented out from time to time. We really like it, hope you will too - and that you will take good care of it!

Seaside location among summer houses and horse farms, with beautiful nature at your doorstep - perfect area for walking and running.

Large, sunny, furnished terrace with a view of Väddöviken. Natural plot (1700 sq m), no lawn.

2-300 meter walk to a nice little sandy beach. A mooring for a smaller boat is available.

The house has 3 good bedrooms, large open plan living/kitchen/dining area, a complete bathroom with shower and toilet, an extra toilet, and a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and storage space.

BEDROOMS:
All bedrooms have wardrobes, blackout curtains and nightstands/bedside tables with lamps.

One bedroom has 2 x 90 cm wide beds (one firm, one medium) with shared, thick mattress topper.
One bedroom has a 140 cm wide bed (medium firm), with a thick mattress topper.
One bedroom has a sofa bed. As a bed, it is 140 cm wide and 200 cm long, with a thick mattress topper.

BATHROOM:
Roof shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
Hair dryer.
The bathroom has underfloor heating - as does the rest of the house.

KITCHEN:
The spacious, fully equipped kitchen should have everything you need for cooking.
Coffee machine (pods), toaster, kettle, stand mixer, electric whisk.
Induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and large freezer.

LIVING ROOM and DINING AREA:
Spacious 3-seater sofa with chaise longue, coffee table and smart TV.
There is also a fireplace, and large windows that let in lots of light.
The dining table has room for 6, in comfortable dining chairs.

OTHER:
Large combined second entry and laundry room, with washing machine and dryer and space for storage.
Spacious hall.

OUTDOOR:
Large terrace with dining table and chairs, lounge furniture and parasol.
Electric grill and fire barrel.

PETS
Pets are unfortunately not allowed.

INCLUDED
Bed linen and towels are included, also beach towels.
Final cleaning included.
A high chair is available, but not a cot.

IN THE AREA
Nearest community is Grisslehamn - 9.3 km away.
It is quite small, but there is a grocery store, fish and seafood store, gas station, restaurants, cafe, bakery, gallery, interior design shops, Hotel Havsbaden with a large SPA facility, Eckerö Line (ferry) to Åland, ice cream stall, marina and Albert Engström's museum.

The restaurants Folk & Fä and Bonden & Burgaren, Väddö Farm Dairy, Bullerbyns Thin Bread and Singö Chocolate are also nearby.

Other communities nearby are Älmsta (14.0 km), Hallstavik (15 km) and Norrtälje (43 km).

ACTIVITIES
The area where the house is, is typically very quiet, there is hardly any traffic and only a few neighbours - so it is a good place to relax.

But if you want an active stay, there is a lot to do in the area! You can go swimming, trecking, biking, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, fishing, cross country skiing or riding. You can also play tennis, padel, golf or mini-golf, or book a boat ride - maybe a seal safari or a fishing trip? There is a SPA in Grisslehamn, and an outdoor pool with water slide in Hallstavik.
