Lakeside cabin in Skåne with a view of Lursjön

Cabin with a fantastic location, view of the beautiful Lursjön, child and dog friendly swimming area and fishing opportunities. Hiking trails, bathing piers, a dog swimming area, a café, a playground and a mini-golf course are connected to the swimming area.

The cabin is located outside Hästveda in Northern Skåne, and Lursjön is considered one of Skåne's best bathing lakes. The swimming area has a lovely sandy beach and large, well-maintained grassy areas.

The cabin is suitable for a maximum of 4 guests and is one of two cabins in this semi-detached house. It is possible to rent both cabins if, for example, you are two families. This requires an inquiry via email so that we can check with the neighbor if their cabin is available.

Description of the cabin:
As you enter the cabin, the first thing you'll notice is the view of Lursjön. To the left, you will find a small hall and a door leading to the toilet with a WC and shower. To the right, there is the kitchen area, which was renovated a few years ago. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, and freezer.

Directly after the kitchen is the living room with a sofa, dining area, and an open fireplace. From here, you can also access the terrace. Below the lawn, you will see the stairs and path leading down to the lake. On the terrace, you can enjoy your meals or simply sit and look out over the lake and watch the sunset in the evenings.

On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: This room has a double bed (160 cm).Here you can find an iron and ironing board if needed.
Bedroom 2: This room has two single beds (90 cm).

The cabin, which was built in 1938, has been updated and refreshed over time, but we have also tried to retain some of its "old" charm.

Together with our neighbors, we own a small rowboat that guests are welcome to use.

For those interested in games, there are board games available to borrow.

What is nearby?
- Hästveda is a 6-minute drive away and has a train station and an ICA store. It is also possible to walk to Hästveda, which takes about 50 minutes one way.

- Osby is about a 20-minute drive north from the cottage. Here, you will find the Brio Lekoseum, which is worth a visit with children.

- Hässleholm is the largest town in the area and is about a 20-minute drive south from the cottage. It offers a wider selection of restaurants and shops. If you are in the mood for a good coffee break, you can stop by Madrix Kafé, located at Stortorget.

- Lursjön offers good fishing opportunities, and fishing permits can be purchased at the café by the swimming area or at iFiske

The nature around northeastern Skåne, with its mixed forests gives a very enchanting feeling. There are many places in the vicinity for hiking, and if you need recommendations, feel free to ask as we have visited several of these spots during our hikes in the area.

If you are interested in flea markets, there are several around, and we would be happy to recommend some.

Booking Information:
- Smoking is NOT allowed indoors in the cabin.

- One dog is allowed in the cabin.

- Minimum booking age: 25 years

- You are responsible for cleaning the cabine yourself. Cleaning supplies are available in the cabin. Depending on your booking time, you may have the option to purchase cleaning service for 1500 SEK.

- Bring your own bed linen and towels. Depending on your booking time, it is also possible to rent these for 300 SEK per person. The set per person includes: pillowcase, duvet cover, fitted sheet, a large and a small towel.

- As this is a semi-detached house, it is important to be considerate of potential guests in the neighboring cabin.

Our cabin is S-marked by Stugknuten, which means a safer transaction for both guest and landlord. More information about S-marking can be found on the Stugknuten website.
