Nice house near the sea in a summer idyll on Tjörn

Located in the small west coast gem Stockevik on Tjörn is this nice house, a little secluded and with a view of the sea and Pater Noster in the distance. The house has plenty of space and is perfect for relaxation and excursions. It is located in direct proximity to swimming area and wonderful cliffs. On the mountain above the house there is a fantastic view of the sea.

The house is in good condition and has 8 beds plus a junior bed. Most of the surfaces are new and the kitchen has been newly renovated with new appliances. It has a large living room, patio, conservatory and outdoor spa. Wifi with broadband connection is available throughout the house.

On the upper floor there is a kitchen, dining area and living room in an open plan layout. Access to a large terrace and a glazed conservatory. The living room has a TV and sound system with terrestrial channels and Chromecast. On the terrace there is a patio, barbecue and spa bath (32 degrees, June-August).

On the middle floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed, foldable baby bed is available. One big bathroom with shower and sauna and a guest toilet.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with bunk beds and desks, one of which is a workplace (screen, keyboard and office chair). One bedroom also has a junior bed. There is a laundry room with a washing machine. Outside there is a guest cabin/studio with bunk beds and a desk with a workplace (screen, keyboard and office chair). There is also a TV with Chromecast.

In the garden there is a large trampoline and 5 bicycles to borrow. There is also an inflatable SUP and a large pedal car that you can use. There is parking with space for 2-3 cars.

Stockevik is a small, older community just south of Skärhamn on western Tjörn. There are nice old houses, a small harbor, a nice swimming area and many nice cliffs to swim and fish from. There is also a small beach nearby.

Skärhamn and Klädesholmen are within easy cycling distance, but it is also not far to Kyrkesund, Rönnäng and Björholmen. Other great destinations for excursions are the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Pilane Sculpture Park and Sundsby Säteri. From Rönnäng you can easily take the ferry to the beautiful islands of Åstol, Dyrön and Tjörnekalv.

In nearby Bleket there are kayak rentals and the possibility of renting a sauna by the sea. There are several paddle courts nearby and on Klädesholmen there is a tennis court with a spectacular location in the harbor. Near Stockevik there are several hiking trails of varying difficulty. The roads are suitable for both road bike and gravel. By car it takes about 15 minutes to Tjörns Golf Club.

It takes about 60 minutes to Gothenburg and Liseberg Amusement Park by car. A little further away is Havets Hus in Lysekil (90 minutes) and Nordens Ark (80 minutes).

The house is not allergy-friendly as there have sometimes been pets visiting. The water is from a drilled well so some frugality is recommended. Pets and smoking are not allowed. A maximum of 8+1 people may live in the house, larger parties and gatherings are not permitted.
