Archipelago paradise on an island in the Gryt arch

A renovated old fishing cottage in the Gryt archipelago with an open sea view, consisting of several smaller cottages. Here you can stay on a headland with only the open sea as your view and the beautiful lighthouse on Häradskär blinking harmoniously. The island has only a few other cottages. The island was purchased by relatives at the turn of the last century and has thus been in the family for generations. To reach the island, you can either use your own boat (there’s a dock about 100m from the cottage) or be picked up and dropped off by the host. There is no store on the island, but the fridge and freezer are of good size, with the nearest store located in Fyrudden.

Grandmother's Cottage: An old cottage from the 1700s with one bedroom with two new separate beds. The living room has a very comfortable sofa bed, an open fireplace, a dining table, and a TV. There is an old kitchen used only as a small dining area, as well as a small extension with a new kitchen featuring all modern amenities such as an induction cooktop, convection oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and hot water. From the kitchen, you can step out to a fantastic outdoor terrace with a sea view, equipped with a table and chairs. The cottage has an air-source heat pump providing a cool breeze in the summer and excellent warmth in the spring and fall.

The Loft: A small loft building with a sofa bed on the ground floor and two separate beds upstairs in the loft. On the ground floor, there’s a dining area, TV, and a new kitchen with all modern amenities such as an induction cooktop, convection oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and hot water. The loft also has an air-source heat pump for pleasant cooling in the summer and good warmth in the spring and fall.

Toilet and Shower: Located in a separate building. This is a utility shed with two separate rooms: one for the toilet and the other for the shower. The toilet is newly renovated with a Cinderella incinerating toilet, a sink with hot water. The shower is in its own room, featuring a shower cabin with hot water.

There is a small plastic boat with an outboard motor available for rent if you wish to have your own boat during your stay to explore any of the hundreds of nearby islands.
