Picturesque little cottage of 40 sqm built in 1920, high location on a lake plot with a jetty and panoramic views of Solöfjärden. Glass veranda with dining area.

Kitchen with stove, fridge and freezer, stove with oven, microwave, kettle etc.
Water is taken outside the house and dishes are done on the veranda.
Adjacent is a small room with a folding bed.
Living room with 2 single beds with comfortable mattresses, here is also a TV and reading chair. Possibility of an extra folding bed.
Small hall with wardrobe.
In a shed next to it is a modern earthen toilet + sink. Shower with hot water in a separate part.
Sun loungers, garden furniture and charcoal grill.
Dinghy with oars available for loan.

Ramsö jetty is closest to the house about 20 minutes walk, here are also 2 bicycles that belong to the house, these can be borrowed during your stay.

Ramsö is a beautiful car-free island with short walking distances. It is easily accessible by frequent regular boat traffic that only takes just over an hour from central Stockholm or 10 minutes from the picturesque archipelago town of Vaxholm. There is also access to boules, football and table tennis.

Visit the charming small town of Vaxholm where you will find shopping, summer restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors as well as grocery stores. There is also a large park with a playground and mini golf. Vaxholm is a hub for regular boat connections to Stockholm and other archipelago islands. Most boats dock at Ramsö so there are very good connections regularly if you do not choose to book a boat taxi.

Ramsö is easy to reach. You can get here either by Waxholmsbåt from the Grand Hotel in central Stockholm (about 1 hour, 20 minute journey), or by car/bus to Vaxholm (or taxi from Arlanda) and then a regular boat to Ramsö (5-10 minutes) or a private taxi boat.

Linen and towels are brought by guests themselves.
