Lovely cottage by the lake

We have a wonderful cottage for rent!

It is situated in Eksjö, in Småland in the south of Sweden, just next to the lake of Norra Vixen.
Eksjö is a beautiful, small town full of old wooden houses, a real nice place to be in the summer. Astrid Lindgren´s World in Vimmerby is not far away (nice for children), and the city of Jönköping is only 70 kilometers away. There is a golf-course in walking distance, and they also have a nice restaurant.

Our cottage is situated just by the lake. It has two bedrooms, with two beds in each (one double), a livingroom with satelite TV, bed-setee and fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with stove and owen, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave oven, hot and cold water of course! Bathroom with shower, washing machine and WC. In addition there is a small guesthouse, with two beds.

There is also a wood-fired sauna, and a small beach or a pier to bath from. Of course there is a small boat, so that you may go out on the lake to fish or just enjoy the landscape!

A great place for bathing and fishing (for example there is perch and pike in the lake). If you visit us in August it is also possible to fish for crayfish, a Swedish summer tradition. It is also a great place just for relaxing, walking in the forest looking for mushrooms, wild berries and wil animals. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of a deer, or even of an elk!

The cottage has recently been renovated and redecorated (2006) and is of very high standard. Boat, fire wood, electricity and water included in the price.
