Charming village house for rent in the archipelago

Welcome to our house in idyllic Grisslehamn. Close to the Baltic Sea Grisslehamn is a small old working fishing village with a charming harbour. In the winter approx 900 families live here
but such is its popularity as a holiday resort that this increases to 10 000 in the summer

New guest house 2016, ie now 2 houses. New conservatory 2017, outside kitchen.

The house is a yellow wooden bungalow situated only a few minutes walk from a swim in the sea.
There are 2 tennis courts and a paddle ct next to the house where you can play for a small fee.
Tennis school and private lessons are available during the summer. Bring your fishing rods along there are lots of fish around the jetties in the area. The 4 star Havsbaden hotel & spa with
gourmet restaurant is only a 5 minutes walk away.

The house has a nice child friendly front and back garden with plenty of trees between us and the next-door neighbour. There is a large kitchen that can seat up to 8, a good size veranda at the front of the house and an open plan living room which is great for socialising, and
a large TV, stereo and fireplace.

There is space for 5 to sleep comfortably in the main house
(duvets and pillows provided)
with a double bedroom, and a second bedroom with 1 family bunk-bed
( for 3 persons, small double below and single above)
New guesthouse built 2016 with double bed and loft with 3 mattresses.
The houses are available for a maximum of 8 persons but sleeping arrangements are up to you.


Should you wish to explore the surrounding areas Norrtalje is the closest major town, (16 000 inhabitants) It is located 45 km south of Grissleham and has lots of quaint shops, restaurants.

The ferry to Aland, (an island between Sweden and Finland where they speak Swedish but belong to Finland) is only minutes away.
The crossing takes 2 hours and the ferry has several restaurants and onboard entertainment.)

There is also lots to see and do closer to home during the summer. Local
attractions include go-karting, a Viking Village, mini golf, cow safari,
a weekend market, several ice cream parlours, a bakery, coffee shops and restaurants.
