Homey mountain cabin at Idre-Foskros

Relaxation for body and mind!

If you wish to experience the mountain nature at close range, you need to visit
Foskros mountain village, situated at mountain Långfjället, north west of Idre.
The cabin is in the mountain village, but with a private ground plot.
Here you will find everything, all year round!

During winter there are tracks only 200 metres from the cabin. And if you want to ski down hill there are slopes at Idre skiing facilities 25 minutes away by car.
You can drive a snow scooter at mountain Långberget, all the way to Lake Grövelsjön. Or do like we do go ice-fishing on the beutifule lakes.

Spring and summer are the fisherman’s eldorado, with only 5 minutes to the river Storån along with several other fishing waters for bait, spinning and fly fishing.
Amongst other you may catch trout, arctic char, gray ling and perch.

Paddle in a still mountain lake, or hike at the bare fjeld and enjoy the lovely fresh
air.
Perhaps you would like some more adventure, try white-water rafting, climbing,
horse back riding or bicycle and join a pack of rain deers.

You do not want to miss the mountain Fulufjället’s national park and walk around
Njupeskär, Sweden’s highest water fall. With a bit of luck, you might see the gyr
falcon above the mountain.
If you want to play golf, one of Sweden’s most beautiful golf courses is situated
only 10 minutes from the cabin
